Protocol approved to realize 5th service commitment package under AFAS
VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng agreed and approved the Protocol to deliver on the 5th commitment package of services under the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS).

The PM authorized the Minister of Trade to represent the Vietnamese Government signing the Protocol at the 12th ASEAN Summit to be held in the Philippines.
Leaders of ASEAN member countries have designed a roadmap for the full liberalization of regional service markets by 2020. Up to now, ASEAN has finished three rounds of negotiation and signed four commitment packages under the AFAS in the following fields of priority: e-commerce, health care, aviation, and services.
