Working with leaders of Đà Nẵng City, President Nguyễn Minh Triết urged the City government to speed up the building of urban infrastructure in line with its overall urban development plan; follow the Party's guidelines and State's policies to attract foreign investors; and draw businesses to concentrated production in industrial and export processing zones.

Visiting the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and talking with foreign investors doing business here, President Nguyễn Minh Triết informed that the Communist Party and State of Vietnam will promulgate more open policies to make them assured when doing long-term investment in Vietnam.

In the January 30 morning, President Nguyễn Minh Triết visited the Party Committee and people of Quảng Ngãi Province. He spent time learning about the pace of building the Dung Quất Economic Zone. The President praised the high working spirit of over 4,000 engineers, workers and foreign experts of PetroVietnam as the investor of the building project and foreign contractors who have worked hard to meet the schedule. He required the investor and contractors to work extra shifts and prepare themselves to welcome the lunar new year on the construction site in order to finish this key national project on schedule./.
