VGP – The Government has recently issued Resolution 67/NQ-CP on planning tasks of national land use master plan in the 2021-2030 with a vision towards 2050.

May 14, 2020 3:59 PM GMT+7

The planning tasks target to specialize national master planning on land for sectors, fields, and localities; boost land use on accurate purposes; protect the environment; prevent natural disasters; respond to climate change; optimize land resource potentials; safeguard national food security, socio-economic development goals, and national security.

The land use planning must match with socio-economic development strategies and plans; combine sectorial and territorial management; ensure national security; guarantee regional characteristics and connectivity; and assure land use demands among different sectors, fields, and localities.

The planning also aims to define areas of paddy cultivation land, forest land, industrial zones, economic zones, high-tech zones, urban land, national defense land, and infrastructure development land.

Earlier, the National Assembly approved the resolution on revising the land use master plan until 2020 and the national land use plan for 2016-2020 on April 9, 2016./.
