Planning on urban and rural systems to be appraised
VGP – An Appraisal Board will be established to assess the planning of urban and rural area systems in the 2021-2030 period with a vision towards 2050.
PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently agreed that the establishment of an Appraisal Board will be established to assess the planning of urban and rural area systems in the 2021-2030 period with a vision towards 2050.
Accordingly, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha is Chairman of the council. The body has a vice chairman who is a deputy minister of construction.
Other members include representatives from the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of National Defense, the Viet Nam Association of Architects, the Viet Nam Urban Development Planning Association, the Viet Nam Construction Association, the Viet Nam Association of Cities.
The council is responsible for assessing the planning task on urban and rural system in the 2021-2030 period with a vision towards 2025, crafting a report to the PM for consideration and ratification.
The council operates in part-time form and will be dissolved after accomplishing the task./.
