Petrol prices dropped by VND862 per litre

VGP - The price of RON 92 declined by VND862 per litre to VND16,504 (US$0.72) from 3:00pm on June 20 as decided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

E5 bio-petrol was cut by VND805 per litre, diesel 0.05S by VND650 per litre, and kerosene by VND738 per litre.

Therefore, the ceiling prices of E5 bio-petrol, diesel 0.05S and kerosene are VND16,349 (US$0.71), VND12,835 (US$0.56) and VND11,380 (US$0.5), respectively.

Petrol prices have been reduced six times with a total decline of VND2,162 per litre so far this year. Meanwhile, there were three hikes with increase of about VND1,150 per litre. 

The prices of petrol and oil are adjusted every 15 days by the two ministries depending on changes in the world market was at US$58,117 per barrel for RON 92 and US$57,736 for diesel.
