Petrol price declines slightly after five hikes

VGP – Retail prices of RON 92 and E5 dipped by VND 112 and VND 105 per liter, respectively from 16:55 of October 5 after five hikes.

The decision to lower the retail prices was jointly announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, prices of RON 92 and E5 are charged at VND 17,999 per liter, while that of E5 is 17,731 VND per liter.

The maximum prices of diesel and kerosene 0,05S are VND 14,588 per liter and VND 13,433 per liter, respectively.

The two ministries also decided to maintain the amount of money set aside for the fund for petrol price stabilization, as well as the fund’s spending.
