Party leader calls for stronger renovation in personnel work

VGP – Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng has asked for stronger renovation in personnel work, saying it is vital for the Party’s development.

Party leader Trọng raised the request at his meeting with the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee’s Commission for Organization on Tuesday.

The Party chief especially stressed the importance of the CPVCC’s Commission for Organization as Party building means developing organizational structure and people.

It is necessary to devise a set of criteria for evaluating the performance of public servants, he said.

Party leader Trọng requested the Commission to actively prepare for personnel work, particularly high-ranking positions for the next tenure.

He also spoke highly of the Commission’s efforts to fulfill its missions over the past time, particularly since the end of the 11th National Party Congress.
