Party chief meets with Cambodian top legislator

The host leader lauded the fruitful cooperation between the two parliaments over the past few years, expressing his hopes that the two sides would continue sharing information and law-making experience as well as implementing effectively the contents of signed agreements and treaties.

The Party leader congratulated Cambodia on the successful organisation of the fifth-tenure parliament election with the victory of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP).

For his part, Mr. Heng Samrin asserted that his country will spare no effort to work with Viet Nam to preserve and nurture the bilateral companionship and all-around connection to reach a new height.

The top legislator thanked Viet Nam for her valuable support for rescuing Cambodians from the genocidal catastrophe and helping the country in its reconstruction and development.

Cambodia, said the guest leader will closely work with Viet Nam to realise the agreements and joint statements reached by leaders of the two countries./.
