Party chief greets President of Poland

VGP – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Ha Noi on November 28 received President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong receives resident of Poland Andrzej Duda, Ha Noi, November 28 , 2017

At the reception, President of Poland Andrzej Duda affirmed his nation places high importance on reinforcing traditional friendship and cooperation with Viet Nam and pledged to implement signed cooperation agreements across economics, finance, education-training, agriculture, environment protection and the media. 

He briefed Trong on the opening of the representative office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City to push for stronger bilateral economic and trade ties in the coming time.

He said he hopes the Vietnamese people would reap even greater achievements in the Doi Moi (Renewal) process to develop Viet Nam into a strong and affluent nation.

In turn, Party chief Trong extolled Poland’s pragmatic support for Viet Nam as well as its position and role in Europe and the outcomes of talks between the two Presidents.

Mr. Trong highlighted the visit as a new step marking positive development of bilateral ties, saying he backs the further promotion of ties between the two States and peoples in areas of strength and demand such as mining, environment protection, agriculture and food processing.
