At the meeting, Mr. Trong highly spoke of the two nations’ achievements in exchange and cooperation over the recent years.

In the context of current international and regional situations, the two Parties and nations should accelerate mutual exchanges and boost realistic and effective cooperation in all fields, suggested the Vietnamese Party leaders.

He also proposed addressing issues on the basis of common perceptions reached by their senior leaders and the international laws to bring practical interests for their people and make contributions to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The Chinese Ambassador expressed his delight on taking over tasks in Viet Nam, appraising developments in the two countries’ relations, asserting to do his utmost to contribute to the relations of the two Parties, and nations.

The Chinese Party and Government attach importance to enhancing the friendship relations with Viet Nam, expecting to strengthen high-ranking exchanges and boost cooperation between the two sides’ ministries, agencies and localities more intensively and practically in all spheres, making contributions to promoting China-Viet Nam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the upcoming time, he added.
