Party Central Committee discusses SOEs reform
VGP – The Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) on Monday morning debated on the Project on rearranging, reforming and improving the effectiveness of the State-owned enterprises (SOEs), according to a press release of the CPVCC’s Office.

Dinh La Thang removed from Politburo
Politburo member, Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan chaired the session.
In the afternoon, the CPVCC worked in groups to discuss the project on 15-year implementation of the 9th Party Central Committee’s Resolution on the development of the private economic sector.
Earlier on May 7, the CPVCC decided to give offical warning to and remove Mr. Dinh La Thang, a Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee from the Politburo for his misdeeds at PetroVietNam.
