Pakistan to hold a cultural festival in Đà Nẵng

VGP - Pakistani Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Việt Nam Shahid Kiani, during his recent working session with leaders of the central city of Đà Nẵng, proposed to hold a cultural festival here.

Chairman of the Đà Nẵng People’s Committee Trần Văn Minh agreed with the proposal and promised that the city would create good conditions for the festival to be a success.

Mr. Trần Văn Minh provided the Ambassador with general information of Đà Nẵng, underlining that the city is focusing on tourism projects, improving services, and upgrading infrastructure to attract investors.

Mr. Kiani said he would actively help the Pakistani business community better understand about and seek cooperation and investment opportunities in the city.

Trade relations between Đà Nẵng and Pakistan remains modest, standing at only US $199,000 in 2009.
