The PM just ratified the master planning scheme for Hải Phòng to 2025 and with visions to 2050.

Accordingly, the city will be enlarged to the east, southeast and northwest.

The 728-ha Bắc Sông Cấm Urban Quarter will become the city’s administrative, political, financial and trade center. Meanwhile, Kiến An District will be developed into a new tourist area.

The total area for industrial purposes is 16,329 ha by 2025, including 9,504 for industrial parks.
