PM works with Supreme People’s Procuracy

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc highlighted the role of the Supreme People’s Procuracy as the prestige agency of the Party, State and people at a working session with leaders from the agency on April 18.

Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri, Deputy PMs Vuong Dinh Hue and Vu Duc Dam and representatives of some ministries, agencies and Ha Noi attended the event.

Speaking at the meeting, PM Phuc hailed the comprehensive coordination between the Government and the Supreme People's Procuracy’s in fighting   crimes and preventing wrongful doings.

The Government will do its utmost to support and facilitate the Supreme People's Procuracy to fulfill its assigned tasks, he asserted, proposing improving the quality of litigation and settling complaints and denunciations.

He approved the viewpoint not to criminalize civil-administrative and economic relations to facilitate the development of socialist-oriented market economy in Viet Nam.

The PM asked the Supreme People's Procuracy to enhance the application of information technology, speed up the realization of projects in coordination with other ministries and agencies and continue completing guiding documents to the Criminal Procedure Code and the 2015 Penal Code.

The Government and the Supreme People's Procuracy have joined hands in addressing issues related to institutional development, denunciations and reporting on crimes, criminal cases, administrative cases, civil cases and other matters.
