PM works with HN’s leaders
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with leaders of Ha Noi on the capital's socio-economic development on September 29 in Ha Noi.

The event also drew the attendance of Deputy PMs, ministry and sector leaders, Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai and Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.
PM Phuc assessed that the city has been transforming positively especially two years after the local Party Congress. The PM tasked ministries and agencies to give clear opinions to handle local suggestions with a view to creating favorable ways for Ha Noi to develop further.
The Government leaders also asked ministries and agencies to make good recommendations and clear directions.
Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung reported that total Gross Domestic Product (GDP) jumped 8.1% in the first nine months of 2017 and was projected to fetch 8.5% in the whole year. State budget collection valued VND 146 trillion, representing a year-on-year surge of 16%.
The city attracted 398 FDI projects worth about US$ 2.16 billion and 22 PPP projects valuing VND 60 billion. The city conducted site clearance for 1742 projects with a total area of 7000 hectares.
He raised over 20 proposals for the Government and the PM on social housing development mechanisms, investment and construction of markets; organization of international sports events; management of grass-roots healthcare clinics; IT public service renting; building of commercial apartments; and selection of investors for special consultation contract packages. The local authorities of Ha Noi also suggested the PM give a green light to a project on construction and embellishment of surrounding areas in Hoan Kiem Lake./.
