PM welcomes new Japanese Ambassador

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on October 29 received new Japanese Ambassador to Viet Nam Hiroshi Fukada.

PM Dung warmly welcomed the new Ambassador saying that the traditional ties, numerous cultural similarities and respective advantages have supported the two countries' mutual development.

Especially, since the two countries set up the strategic partnership, the bilateral ties have progressed vigorously and benefitted both sides, said PM Dung.

He thanked Japan for its ODA contribution to socio-economic development in Viet Nam.

Viet Nam, said the host leader, values and will cement and deepen the bilateral ties in a sustainable, long-lasting manner in the interest of mutual prosperity and regional peace, stability and cooperation.

He also hoped that Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada would make practical contributions to the comprehensive ties between Viet Nam and Japan.

For his part, Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada underlined that he would do his utmost to spur the bilateral ties, especially in economics, trade, investment, ODA, education and culture./.
