PM Dung highly appreciated the results of working sessions between Mr. Thanasak Patimaprakorn and Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, saying that the visit will make practical contributions to the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The Government chief also nnoted the Vietnam-Thailand friendly and cooperative relations are developing well in many fields such as economy, trade, investment, tourism, security and military, including joint sea patrol.

He urged both countries’ armies to effectively implement cooperation agreements on experience exchange, cadre training, rescue, salvation… and to continue to well conduct joint sea patrols.

The two sides should cooperate more effectively in the ADMM-Plus mechanism (ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting), including East Sea issues, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

General Tanasak Patimapragorn said the delegation’s visit is to strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ armies, especially in cadre training.

He pledged to try his best to boost the ties between the two countries in general and the two armies in particular.
