PM welcomes Singaporean business delegation

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on April 6 hosted a reception for a Singaporean business delegation led by President of Singapore Manufacturing Federation Douglas Foo.

April 07, 2018 9:00 AM GMT+7

Singapore is the 3rd biggest foreign investor in Viet Nam with total registered capital of US$42 billion.

Welcoming the delegation to Viet Nam, the PM said the Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Partnership has advanced well and the two-way trade increased rapidly.

Singapore ranks third among largest investors in Viet Nam with the total registered capital of US$42 billion in 2,000 projects.

Mr. Douglas Foo and other business representatives in fields of urban development, semiconductor industry, electronics production and waste treatment briefed about their investment plans in Viet Nam, particularly in the central city of Da Nang.

Hailing Singapore investors’ plans, PM Phuc asserted that the Vietnamese Government will continue creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, hoping that Singapore’s investment initiatives in Viet Nam will soon come into reality, making contributions to the two nations’ Strategic Partnership.
