PM welcomes Chiba Prefecture’s policies supporting Vietnamese laborers

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed Chiba Prefecture’s authorities to launch policies supporting the teaching of Japanese and the provision of accommodations for Vietnamese laborers during his meeting with Governor of Japan's Chiba Prefecture Kensaku Morita in Ha Noi on March 14.

At the reception, the PM expressed his delight on the Governor’s second visit to Viet Nam over the recent five months, highlighting the fruitful developments in Viet Nam-Japan relationship at all levels. 

Lauding socio-economic development performances of Chiba Prefecture, the Vietnamese leader expected that the Governor’s visit will make positive contributions to boosting Viet Nam-Japan relations as well as the cooperative relations between the Prefecture and other Vietnamese localities. 

Mr. Kensaku Morita supposed that Viet Nam has huge potential of high-quality human resources, expressing his hope that more Vietnamese will work in Chiba Prefecture. 

The Prefecture is establishing and completing policies to attract more Vietnamese workers to work in Chiba, he said, adding that Chiba will prepare part of its budget to teach Japanese for Vietnamese workers and assist accommodations for Vietnamese workers in the Prefecture. 

He confirmed to do his utmost to strengthen the cooperative relations between the two nations in the upcoming time. 

PM Phuc expected that the Governor will contribute to enhancing Japan’s role as the top economic partner of Viet Nam, especially in fields of Official Development Assistance, investment, trade and tourism.
