PM urges to lift difficulties and facilitate investments
VNGOP – At the Government’s regular meeting in early October 2007, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng gave drastic directions to speed up the disbursement of capital and promote investment activities.
The PM asked ministers and heads of ministerial-level agencies and governmental bodies to direct competent organizations to promptly lift all difficulties for businesses, especially the corporations with important projects. They should further collaborate each other in dealing with procedures for investment projects as well as for the foundation and operation of enterprises.
The local authorities, especially Hà Nội and Hồ Chí Minh City where a great quantity of capital investment has been registered, were required to accelerate the capital disbursement of 2007 to create the impetus for the following years.
PM Dũng also directed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to help sectors and local authorities boost export in the remaining months of 2007 to narrow the trade gap.
