The Government chief made the statement while attending the 42th anniversary of liberation of Quang Nam Province on March 24.

The future success story of Quang Nam will depend on the ability to awaken human potential and its capacity to enhance economic connectivity with Da Nang City and other central coastal provinces, PM Phuc said.

He hailed the province’s efforts in improving business environment in favor of businesses, including Truong Hai Corporation-one of the country’s biggest private companies.

On behalf of the Party and State’s leaders, the PM expressed his gratitude to the martyrs and soldiers who made great services to the national independence, unification and integrity.

Quang Nam was one of the most thriving trade hubs in Asia in the previous centuries and the land where so many Vietnamese people fell down for national liberation.

Now Quang Nam ranks 10th among provinces and cities with highest budget revenues and income per capita reached over VND 53 million, above the national average.

It is also home to two UNESCO-recognized heritages, namely Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary along with high density of beaches and bays.
