PM special envoy appointed as Commander-in-Chief for APEC 14 activities

VNGOVNet – On November 13, the Government sent Document 146/CP-QTTV to the National Committee, subcommittees and Secretariat of APEC 2006, announcing the appointment of a Commander-in-Chief for activities of the 14th APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.

Mr. Vũ Khoan – Special Envoy of the Prime Minister

According to this document, Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng appointed Mr. Vũ Khoan, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, as the Commander-in-Chief of all forces involved in preparing and carrying out activities of the 14th APEC Economic Leaders’ Week scheduled from November 12-19, 2006 in Hanoi. Mr. Vũ Khoan is the former Deputy Minister and former Chairman of the National Committee for APEC Vietnam.
