PM requests Quang Ninh to focus on sustainable growth

The Government chief made the remark on September 13 at a conference on the announcement of Quang Ninh’s seven strategic plans.
The provincial seven strategic plans by 2020 with a vision towards 2030 centres on socio-economic development, building of regional provinces, tourism development, environment, land use, scientific and technological development and human resource development.
The strategic plans set a new framework for long-term development of Quang Ninh.
Addressing the event, PM Dung emphasized that Quang Ninh plays an extremely significant role for national development in the areas of economics, culture, society, national defense, security, politics, and diplomacy.
The province also owns abundant potentials especially in tourism, service, trade, industry and agriculture.
The Government chief proposed that the locality should build mechanisms and policies to create transparent and open business environment to lure more investment and raise living standards for local residents.
He also suggested that Quang Ninh should focus more on administrative reform; improve quality of healthcare, culture and education./.
