The PM made that statement on April 11 at his reception for out-going Ambassador of the RoK to Viet Nam Lee Hyuk.

PM Phuc hailed breakthroughs in Viet Nam-RoK Strategic Partnership in all areas, particularly economics as the RoK takes the lead among investors in Viet Nam.

Appraising cooperative achievements between the two nations in such areas as politics, diplomacy, economics, trade and investment during the Ambassador’s working period in Viet Nam, he hoped that the Ambassador will make more contributions to the two nations’ relations in the upcoming time.

Ambassador Lee Hyuk highlighted that that more RoK enterprises tend to invest and expand their operation in Viet Nam, expressing his hope that the PM will advocate strengthening the relationship between the RoK and other nations in ASEAN.

Viet Nam is willing to facilitate the RoK’s businesses to pour more investment in the nation, thus enhancing investment to other countries in Southeast Asia, asserted the Vietnamese leader.
