PM receives new Pakistani ambassador

VGP - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received new Pakistani Ambassador to Viet Nam Zaigham Uddin Azam in Ha Noi on June 18 .

The PM said he is satisfactory with positive developments of the Viet Nam-Pakistan relations over the past time.
 
He stressed that the two countries should better exploit potentials to serve cooperation for mutual benefits and development.
 
PM Dung urged the two sides to enhance exchanges of delegations, support each other at international forums especially the United Nations, prioritize cooperation in economy, trade, investment to a level on a par  with their political ties.
 
The Prime Minister re-affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always encourage and create favorable conditions for Pakistani enterprises to invest and operate long-term businesses in Viet Nam. He wished that Pakistan will also support Vietnamese enterprises to expand their investment in Pakistan.
 
The PM also praised and agreed with the Pakistani ambassador on the opening of a direct flight route between the two countries, which will help boost trade, investment and tourism.
 
Ambassador Zaigham Uddin Azam said that high ranking officials of Pakistan always attach great importance to develop multi-faceted relations with Viet Nam, especially in economy, trade and investment.
 
He said that he will make all efforts to contribute to boosting relations with Vietnam in fields of high potentials such as leather tanning technology, food processing, fisheries, healthcare, agriculture and national defence.
 
He expressed his wish that the Vietnamese Government would create favorable conditions for him to fulfill his tenure in Viet Nam successfully.
