Lauding the Governor’s working sessions with Vietnamese ministries and agencies, the PM said he hopes that the outcomes gained will actively contribute to the multi-lateral cooperation between Viet Nam and Oregon in particular and between the nation with the U.S. in general.

He praised the developments in the two nations' relations in such areas as economics, trade and investment, asserting that Viet Nam expects to promote the bilateral relations to benefit both.

He affirmed support for the cooperation between the State with Vietnamese ministries and agencies, especially in terms of potential areas including search and rescue, addressing consequences of natural calamity, innovative economics, environmental protection, clean energy, agriculture, imports and exports, education and training and cultural exchanges.

PM Dung also highly valued the successful operation of Oregon businesses in Viet Nam and encouraged them to launch more investments.

Ms. Kate Brown said that the results gained during her visit to Viet Nam have created a number of cooperative opportunities between Oregon and Viet Nam, expressing her optimism about investment in Viet Nam after the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is inked.

Oregon is ready for further cooperation with Viet Nam in all fields, she confirmed.
