PM receives Singaporean business delegation

VGP – The Vietnamese Government commits to creating favorable ways for Singaporean enterprises to do successful business in Viet Nam and stands ready to listen to their comments, said PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc received a Singaporean business delegation led by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the Singapore Enterprise (ESG) to promote investment and business cooperation in Viet Nam on July 15 in Ha Noi.

PM Phuc said that last April, he attended the Viet Nam-Singapore business forum which attracted 700 delegates and witnessed the signing of about US$ 10 billion cooperative agreements. 

He thanked SBF and ESG for hosting the forum which contributed to promoted economic cooperation. 

The PM highly praised business operation of Singaporean enterprises in Viet Nam. 

The Vietnamese Government has always spared no effort to stabilize macro-economy, politics, society and create favorable environment for enterprises. 

He affirmed the Vietnamese Government pledges to create favorable conditions for Singaporean enterprises to do successful business in Viet Nam and stands ready to listen to their comments.  

The host leader suggested the businesses to expand operation in Viet Nam in such areas as infrastructure development, logistics, finance, banking, IT, electronics, education, semiconductors, tourism, maritime industry, aerospace, start-up development, SOEs equitization, and smart city development. 

On behalf of the delegation, SBF President Teo Siong Seng said that in spite of economic fluctuations, Viet Nam still maintained stable economic growth rates. 

Mr.  Teo Siong Seng said that the business comprised 36 Singaporean enterprises which hoped to seek business opportunities in Viet Nam./.
