PM receives Lao Minister of Public Security

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc made the remark while hosting an August 17 reception in Ha Noi for Lao Minister of Public Security Somkeo Silavong, during which, he warmly welcomed the Lao guest to officially visit Viet Nam and attend exchange activities with the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, on the occasion of the Viet Nam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Party and Government leaders, the PM congratulated the Lao Party, Government and people on their significant achievements attained over the past few years.
Viet Nam always treasures and wishes to strengthen the friendly relations and solidarity between the three Indochinese countries, including Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia, he said, hailing the Viet Nam-Laos relations as being special, unique and rare in the world.

He sincerely wished the Party, State, Government and people of Laos to successfully realize the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, towards building the peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Lao country following socialism goals, and constantly increasing Laos’ position in the region and around the world.
Via Minister Somkeo Silavong, PM Phuc extended his regards to Lao General Secretary and President Bounnhang Volachith, PM Thongloun Sisoulith and other leaders of the Lao Party, Government and National Assembly.
For his part, Lao Minister of Public Security Somkeo Silavong stated that his visit held a special meaning, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship between the two countries as a whole, between the two public security forces in particular, and also consolidating the friendly relations and cooperation between Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia as well.
The Lao public security force is actively working with the Vietnamese public security force in deploying celebration and exchange activities between the two countries, he said.
The guest also extended the regards from Lao PM Thongloun Sisoulith to PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
