PM receives Lao Chairman of LFNC Central Committee

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc proposed Viet Nam and Laos enhance close coordination in launching joint declarations, high-ranking agreements and cooperative plans, including the cooperative agreement in the 2016-2020 phase between the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Vietnamese Party Central Committee and Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee.

The PM made that statement at his reception for Chairman of the LFNC Central Committee Saysomphone Phomvihane on September 4 in Ha Noi. 

At the meeting, the Vietnamese leader extended condolences over the dam collapse in Attapeu, Laos. 

He highly spoke of achievements of the LFNC Central Committee in the national development over the recent years and the Committee’s organization of the  International Buddhist Conference between Laos-Viet Nam-Cambodia at the end of 2018 in Laos, adding that Viet Nam will do its utmost to prepare for the event. 

The host suggested the LFNC, the Viet Nam Front Fatherland and the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Vietnamese Party Central Committee enhance communications among people at all levels on Viet Nam-Laos special ties as well as continue supporting each other at international forums for the sake of each side and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world. 

He expected that the Lao Party, State, Government and LFNC will create favorable policies for Vietnamese community in Laos to stabilize their lives and make contribution to Lao socio-economic development and Viet Nam-Laos special relationship. 

Mr. Saysomphone Phomvihane expressed thanks to Viet Nam’s assistance for Laos over dam collapse in Attapeu. 

He consented to enhance delegation exchanges, organize conferences and propose measures to boost the friendship relations between the two nations.
