The host leader stressed the importance of further cooperation and experience sharing among public security and police forces of the two countries especially in the context that Viet Nam is sparing no effort to ensure absolute safety for the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders' Week.

PM Phuc suggested the two sides proactively exchange information on crime and cooperate with each other to prevent non-traditional and transnational crimes.

Mr. Lee Chul-sung said he was delighted to work with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, during which the two sides agreed on a number of important contents, especially the combat against hi-tech crime and ensuring cyber security.

They also agreed to boost cooperation in training in the coming time, he said, adding that the KNPA will continue coordinating with the Vietnamese ministry to exchange information and experience in preventing all kinds of crime, especially non-traditional ones, hi-tech crime, and terrorism./.
