He hailed the two nations’ relations in all fields, including their high-ranking delegation exchanges and close coordination at international and regional forums.

The Government chief affirmed Viet Nam’s consistent policy of attaching importance to the relationship with Japan, contributing to establishing peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Vietnamese functional agencies will closely cooperate with the Japanese side to prepare for the future visit of Japanese Emperor and Empress to Viet Nam, he said.

The Vietnamese Government will facilitate foreign investors launching their business and investment in Viet Nam, he asserted, hoping that the Japanese enterprises will accelerate investment in power, especially clean energy and renewable energy, in Viet Nam.

The PM suggested the Ambassador encourage the Japanese Government and Parliament to continue Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Viet Nam in the future as well as promote investment activities between the Japanese localities and businesses with Vietnamese partners in high tech agriculture.

Ambassador Kunio Umeda confirmed to do his utmost to strengthen the two nations’ Extensive Strategic Partnership relations and accelerate the progress of key projects.
