PM receives Honorary Consul General of VN in Busan-Gyeongnam region

At the meeting, PM Phuc welcomed the visit to Viet Nam made by Mr. Park Soo Kwan and the business delegation from Busan in the context that Viet Nam-RoK strategic partnership has been strengthened intensively, bringing benefits for both. 

Highlighting potential of Busan in fields of economics and trade, he expected that the visit will make contributions to enhancing the cooperation between Busan with Vietnamese localities and businesses. 

Mr.  Park Soo Kwan hailed Viet Nam’s fast socio-economic development over the recent years under the leadership of the Vietnamese Government and PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.  

He expressed his hope to receive more support from the PM in facilitating cooperative activities between Busan and other localities and businesses in Viet Nam in the time ahead. 

PM Phuc proposed Mr. Park Soo Kwan continue supporting and protecting the legitimate rights of Vietnamese citizens in Busan-Kyeongnam as well as encouraging the RoK’s universities and businesses in the region to provide more scholarships for Vietnamese students and hire more Vietnamese laborers. 

The PM hoped that Mr. Park Soo Kwan will call for more RoK enterprises to invest in Viet Nam or coordinate with the Vietnamese side in importing high-quality agricultural products. 

Mr. Park Soo Kwan committed to doing his utmost to accelerate the two nations’ strategic partnership more extensively in all fields.
