The Government chief made the point while receiving CEO of the Investment Corporation of Dubai Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani on March 25 in Ha Noi.

He said Viet Nam attaches importance to the fine relations and comprehensive cooperation with the UAE especially in economic field. So far, the UAE is Viet Nam’s largest trade partner in the Middle East, evidenced by the two-way trade turnover standing at around US$ 6 billion per year.

He was convinced that the visit would remarkably promote the bilateral economic, trade, and investment ties.

The host leader praised the guest leader for coming to Viet Nam to seek business opportunities two months after their meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland).

PM Phuc affirmed that Viet Nam is providing a favorable investment and business environment. The number of foreign tourists to Viet Nam was on the rise.

In reply, Mr. Shaibani revealed that right after attending the WEF, the Investment Corporation of Dubai and VinaCapital investment fund discussed  and decided to open a large-scale resort complex project in Quang Nam.

According to the guest leader, the UAE has high demands for labor and hopes to work with Viet Nam to recruit Vietnamese guest workers especially in tourism and hotel areas./.
