The Government chief addressed an awarding ceremony for Vietnamese talents on November 16.

Outstanding inventions in IT, sciences and technologies, medicine and environment were honored at the Vietnamese Talent Awards 2017.

Addressing the event, PM Phuc expressed his pleasure at the national socio-economic performance of which all 13 preset norms were fulfilled or even surpassed. He hailed the contribution of the whole political system, people, the business community, especially Vietnamese talents.

According to PM Phuc, in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, Viet Nam has enjoyed abundant opportunities for further development. “We will succeed if we are able to make full use of development opportunities and our brainpower, otherwise we will be left behind,” the PM underlined.

PM Phuc also stressed that a society of unceasing learning and  creativity offer an ideal environment for national development, serving as an important impetus for the building of the constructive and action-oriented Government. Creative solutions and high-quality research  fuel the determination and action of the Government.

He also hoped that the Vietnamese Talent Awards would continue to discover and honor more talents in different areas; contributing to developing business start-up movement and taking the lead of study encouragement movement.

PM Phuc, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan, and Chairman of VNPT Tran Manh Hung presented the first prize to Duy Tan University for the human body 3D simulator. Every organ and detail of a human body is recreated for teachers, students and researchers in the health sector.

The second prizes of IT came to Rada - app service connection and DoIT by VNU University of Engineering and Technology – a Vietnamese spell checker.

Four third prizes in IT included Giasan.vn - a website to compile and analyze the local real estate market; APT attack prevention device by Cyberlab; Campus Plus by BEE TECH Viet Nam Company; and  GOnJOY by M&AI Company.

"The Vietnamese Talent Awards was first held in 2005 to honor inventions in IT and then expanded to many other fields including health, sciences and technologies, environment, and talents promotion.

For the past 12 years, the Vietnamese Talent Awards have become a launch pad for young people, start-up companies and groups./.
