PM pledges to cement ties with Switzerland

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng emphasized so on July 12 in Hà Nội while receiving Mr. Jean Hubert Lebet, newly-appointed Swiss ambassador to Việt Nam.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highly spoke of the good friendship between the two countries and extended his gratitude to the European country's ODA for Việt Nam. The Government leader showed his willingness to cement cooperation with Switzerland, especially in economy, trade and investment.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng applauded the upcoming working visit to Việt Nam by Swiss Federal Councilor for Economic Affairs Doris Leuthard. The PM wished Ambassador Jean Hubert Lebet to have practical and effective activities to promote the bilateral ties.

Mr. Jean Hubert Lebet reported that he is working with some relevant Vietnamese ministries and agencies to prepare for Councilor Doris Leuthard's visit. He also revealed that the Councilor will be accompanied by a delegation of leading Swiss businesses who want to seek for investment opportunities in Việt Nam.
