PM okays foreign-aided projects
VNGOP – The PM approved the two projects "Capacity increasing in assessing and managing water resources in Việt Nam" and "Market-oriented agriculture and forestry for poverty reduction in Quảng Nam Province" funded by the Belgian Government and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) respectively.

Accordingly, Belgium grants a non-refundable aid worth of €4,000,000 to the first project. Meanwhile, the total non-refundable sum from FAO for the second project is €1.2 million.
Under Document 166/TTr-QHQT issued on January 29, the PM also agreed that the Ministry of Health will undertake the Project "Supervising, inspecting and dealing with epidemic relating to acute pneumonia and viral encephalitis in Bến Tre" financed with €473,689 by the Pasteur Paris Institute.
The PM assigned the Ministry of Resource and Environment, Quảng Nam People’s Committee and the Ministry of Health to work with relevant agencies in approving and realizing the projects under current regulations.
