PM okays WB-financed program on poverty reduction
VGP – The PM lately ratified outcomes of the negotiations for the 9th Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC 9) Program between the Vietnamese Government and the WB.

The PM authorized the Governor of the State Bank of Việt Nam to sign the PRSC 9 Program and other related documents with the WB.
The Ministry of Justice was entrusted to provide necessary legal procedures for the Program to come into force.
The Government chief agreed to receive other non-refundable aid or preferential loans within the PRSC 9.
The Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies, will map out effective plans to disburse the aid.
The PM also approved the initial steps of the negotiation process for the 10th PRSC Program.
PRSC 9 aims at supporting the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development Plan in Việt Nam during its transformation into a middle-income country./.
