PM meets with Cambodian King

The Government chief, who is on a two-day official visit to Cambodia, expressed his wish that King Norodom Sihamoni would continue supporting the bilateral ties to develop strongly, practically and effectively in the future.

He said Vietnamese Government and people always keep in mind and treasure the enthusiastic and valuable support of the Cambodian Royal Family and people for Viet Nam’s national construction and protection and the development of the Viet Nam-Cambodia ties as well.

Viet Nam always attaches importance to enhancing the good neighborhood, traditional friendship, comprehensive, durable and long-term cooperation with Cambodia, PM Phuc affirmed.

King Norodom Sihamoni said he admired the achievements gained by Viet Nam during the cause of national construction and development.

He said Cambodia’s former King Norodom Sihanouk had always said both countries must maintain peace and friendship.

King Norodom Sihamoni expressed his belief that PM Phuc’s ongoing visit would help boost the bilateral relationship.
