VGP - PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted reception for member of the national football team who have been crowned as 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup champions after winning 3-2 on aggregate against Malaysia a week ago.

2018 is a special year for Viet Nam as the national football team finished second in the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship in China and won the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup trophy.

Many of the players are still young and have long future ahead, thus experts believe the AFF Cup trophy will open up a new chapter for the national team.
