PM meets Singapore's CEO of CapitaLand

VGP - PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has appreciated CapitaLand’s investment in building new urban development model in Viet Nam, and wished the firm to consider developing new urban projects regarding the demand and long-term interests of local communities.

He made the remarks in Ha Noi on March 27 at a reception for President and CEO of CapitaLand Lim Ming Yan.

The PM applauded CapitaLand’s investment in building new urban development model in Viet Nam, and wanted the group to consider developing new urban projects regarding the demand and long-term interests of local communities.

He suggested CapitaLand implement green, clean and beautiful urban projects in Viet Nam like those carried out successfully by the firm in many areas in Asia, helping the country realise sustainable development goals and stabilise its real estate market.

The Government leader told his guest that he hopes the group will create different values and gain more successes in Viet Nam as a contribution to the country’s socio-economic development.

In turn, Lim Ming Yan said that his firm has invested in many great projects in Viet Nam over the last 22 years and plans to build new urban development model in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Projects run by CapitaLand in Viet Nam will always be connected to the community and ensure social responsibility with smart control systems towards sustainable development, he noted.
