PM leaves for WEF annua meeting

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Ha Noi on Tuesday for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland at the invitation of the forum’s founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab.

He is accompanied by Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Trade and Industry Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung and Permanent Vice Foreign Minister Pham Thanh Son.

Viet Nam and the WEF are expected to sign a deal on construction of a Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and a Letter of Intent on cooperation in solving plastic waste.

This year’s meeting is expected to draw the participation of around 3,000 delegates, including 50 State/Government leaders who will join more than 400 sessions with leaders of international organizations, businesses and the youth from all over the world./.
