Chinese Ambassador to Viet Nam Xiong Bo pledged he will do his best  to further reinforce the China-Viet Nam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for the benefits and development of each nation, thus contributing to peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

In turn, PM Phuc highly appreciated the positive results of cooperation between Viet Nam and China over the past time, saying Viet Nam places great importance on developing the friendly neighbourliness and all-around cooperation with China.

He also asked the Chinese diplomat to make practical contributions to fostering the relationship between the two nations in the coming time.

Meanwhile Ambassadr Kim Højlund  Christensen showed his elation at the fruitful relationship between Viet Nam and Denmark and vowed to work hard to accelerate the implementation of agreements reached during the PM’s visit to Denmark in October this year.

He also commended the Vietnamese Government’s efforts in improving the investment climate, adding that many Danish enterprises are keen to land investments in Viet Nam.

In turn, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc suggested both nations should work hand in hand to realize agreements reached during his visit to the European country last October.

The current trade turnover of US$700 million between the two countries is still below their full potential, Phuc said, and called for joint efforts to further boost bilateral trade and investment ties.

The cabinet leader proposed the ambassador organisemore trips for Danish businesses to Viet Nam so as to seek new cooperation opportunities and forms with host agencies, and asked Denmark to Viet Nam’s prioritized projects in climate change response, environmental protection, education and health care.

PM Phuc said with confidence that the ambassador, with his diplomatic experience, will make pragmatic contributions to bilateral relations in coming time.
