PM greets Laos Deputy PM
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception for Mr. Bunthoong Chitmany, Deputy PM, President of the Government Inspection Authority of Laos (GIA) who was on a working visit to Viet Nam on August 23 in Ha Noi.

PM Phuc affirmed that the visit of Bunthoong Chitmany represents the solidarity and close ties between the two Parties, States, Governments, and peoples. He was convinced that the Viet Nam-Laos friendship and solidarity year attained fine outcomes.
The host leader congratulated the great achievements which the Party, State, and people of Laos have attained in socio-economic development and expressed his delight to witness the friendly solidarity and special cooperation between the two countries in a practical manner.
On this occasion, PM Phuc recommended the two sides cooperate to make the Viet Nam-Laos friendship and solidarity year a success.
The PM took the occasion to thank the Lao Government for facilitating Vietnamese investors in Laos.
The Vietnamese Government treasured the close coordination between the Government Inspectorate of Viet Nam (GIV) and the Government Inspection Authority of Laos (GIA) and highlighted the significance of anti-corruption efforts.
He also affirmed that Viet Nam stands ready to share experience with Laos on national development.
In reply, Deputy PM Bunthoong Chitmany revealed that during the visit, he hoped to cooperate with the GIV in anti-corruption effort./.
