The PM asked the province to promote creativity and exploit its potential in terms of agricultural and aquatic processing and production to develop fast and sustainably.

The province needs to focus on vocational training, transfer labor structures, create favorable conditions to attract investment and more jobs for rural residents, the PM suggested.

He proposed the province launch synchronously and effectively social security and welfare works, reduce poverty sustainably, develop healthcare, culture and education, strictly implement administrative procedures and actively attract investment resources for provincial construction and development.

In 2014, Hau Giang Province attained a economic growth rate of 12.5%, an average GDP per capita of VND31.1 million, an export turnover rising by 24.5%, a total social investment capital increase of 3.58% and a reduction of 3.39% in poor households.
