Participation in the event included leaders of the Government Office, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Public Security, Defense, Health, Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ha Noi’s People’s Committee.

The PM highlighted the meaning of these two multi-lateral events in the year, which creates an opportunity for leaders to exchange measures to enhance investment, regional connection, trade and sustainable use of natural resources.

It also creates a chance for Viet Nam to affirm its commitments and contributions to Mekong mechanisms in general and the GMS and CLV in particular as well as promote regional cooperation to serve socio-economic development goals, he added.

The PM asked sub-committees, secretary boards and relevant ministries and agencies to prepare plans for activities of reception, press, logistics, security and health to ensure the successful organization of these two events, meeting standards and rules of GMS and CLV.
