PM chairs conference on boosting administrative reforms

VGP - PM Nguyen Tan Dung chaired a national online conference held on March 26 to review and boost the country’s administrative reforms.

According to a report by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in 2014 ministries, sectors and localities achieved important results in improving institution, organization, administrative procedures and personnel policy through reforms in various aspects of administrative operation.

Activities to reform the personnel policy have been carried out at all State administrative agencies with Steering Committees established in all ministries, sectors and localities to organize the implementation and devise plan on assignment and other related tasks.

MHA has studied and improved institution to lay a concrete foundation for ministries, sectors and localities to reform their personnel towards  being professional, responsible, dynamic, transparent and effective public services and a human resource management system in accordance with the Law on Public Officers.

In 2015, the master plan on administrative reforms in the 2011-2020 will be implemented nationwide while the operation of the Government’s Steering Committee on Administrative Reforms will be enhanced.

Meanwhile, administrative procedures related directly to people and businesses will be further improved and bothersome acts to people and businesses will be strictly punished.

One-door policy will also be implemented at district level after being approved.
