PM attends investment promotion conference in Binh Thuan

In his opening remarks, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai said that Binh Thuan always identifies businesses as an important driving force for economic development and constantly strives to remove difficulties and create a favorable business environment for investors and enterprises.

At the conference, Binh Thuan introduced and called for investment in three areas, including the development of green and sustainable tourism, renewable energy and high-tech agriculture, which have been defined by the province as three key pillars to boost sustainable development and to realize the strategic goal of establishing three national-level centers for sea sport and tourism, energy and the processing of titanium.

The conference offered a platform for investors to meet provincial leaders, seek for investment information in specific projects and have their obstacle addressed. Based on the opinions raised by investors and businesses, Binh Thuan will be able to work out effective policies to improve the local business climate.

According to the list for investment mobilization until 2030, the province is giving priority to attracting investment in nine projects in tourism, service and infrastructure; 31 projects in industry and seven others in the agro-forestry and fisheries sector.

Binh Thuan is adjacent to the southern key economic zone and is nearly 200 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh City.

The province possesses a long coastline of 192 kilometers with many beautiful beaches, pristine white sand hills and fresh climatic conditions, in addition to a lot of beautiful natural landscapes and famous historical and cultural relics.
