The event provides a good opportunity for the provincial leaders, representatives from ministries and sectors, businesses and investors to discuss measures to improve Binh Phuoc’s business climate as well as attract investment into the province.

It also offers an ideal platform for investment partners and enterprises to put forward constructive recommendations so that Binh Phuoc could maximize its potential and advantages for socio-economic development, while enhancing its labor productivity and competitiveness in the new period.

At the conference, the provincial People’s Committee will present investment decisions and licenses to ten foreign-invested projects totally worth US$312 million and 13 domestically invested projects worth US$15.87 trillion (US$690 million).

The leaders of Binh Phuoc affirmed that they will always stand side by side with businesses to remove their difficulties, and will create the best possible conditions for companies to do business and make investments in the province.

Binh Phuoc, reestablished on January 1, 1997, currently has eight industrial zones invested with full infrastructure. According to planning, by 2020, the province will have 13 industrial zones and a Hoa Lu international border gate economic zone.

In the first seven months of 2018, Binh Phuoc attracted 22 investment projects with a total registered capital of US$312 million, including seven projects worth US$272 million into the Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Zone.
