PM attends first investment promotion meeting in 2019

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on January 14 is attending the first investment promotion meeting in 2019, which is organized in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong.

Dak Nong Province expects to welcome the largest-ever investment capital this year. 

With the theme “Dak Nong-investment potentials and opportunities”, the event has attracted the participation of around 1,000 delegates, including 700 investors. 

At the event, representatives from economic corporations will deliver speeches to exchange strategic cooperative goals and orientations, measures to attract more investment as well as share difficulties and challenges of investing in the province. 

Besides developing tourism, the province has advantages of mining industry, high-tech agriculture in line with agricultural and forestry processing. 

In 2018, only 20 projects were granted with investment certificates in the province, including 15 in industry and construction, worth more than VND2,800 billion and two in agriculture, valued at VND117 billion.  

In this meeting, the province will license investment certificates and ink investment agreements with the capital amounting thousands of VND billion.
