This is the second investment promotion conference held nationwide in 2018 (after the first one in Phu Yen province on January 19), and the first conference of the Mekong Delta region this year.

With the theme of “Waking up potential – Sustainable Development,” the conference has brought together around 500 domestic and international delegations, representing ministries, sectors, localities, investment promotion agencies, business associations of some countries in Viet Nam, and investors, both at home and abroad.

In his opening remark, Chairman of the Bac Lieu People’s Committee, Duong Thanh Trung, affirmed that the province would develop rapidly and sustainably in the future, with a lot of room and opportunities for investors and businesses to make investments for mutual development.
